Think of a time in your life when newness arrived:
The first day of school.
Falling in love.
Graduating from college.
Starting a new job.
Having a baby.
There is a wave of possibility that runs through your veins. Hopes and dreams are built on this energy.
Right now in our world, there is an undercurrent (as there should be) of uncertainty and fear. The word ‘war’ lingers in the air. The possibility of a climate crisis that will steal the future from our children hangs over our heads. And yet, as the stars would have it, they are indifferent to the human experience.
This week’s enthusiastic double-Aries sky screams: ‘GET UP! START AGAIN! IGNITE HOPE!’
‘Do not focus on the negative!’ yells every Aries; they demand for us to start again.
I am so thankful to have Aries in my chart. My enthusiasm and delight continues for no reason. I am the person who eats food as though I hadn’t in weeks. Each bite is joined with sounds of delight. It can be embarrassing, as every Aries knows. How excited can I get?
This is the child in all of us who just arrived at school or just got the best birthday gift. It’s the part in all of us who gets excited over colors, smells, tastes and love. A song comes on and they sing out loud. For those who do not carry this springtime energy, life can become beige. There is nothing beige about this new moon.
Every new moon sets us up for a time to pray and ask for what we need. Because it is a dark sky (the Sun and Moon are blocking the light), we are invited to stay inside. I always think about times of old: without the Moon’s reflection at night, and without electricity, it was dangerous to even go out for a walk.
To dance with the influences of the stars, we stay in. And we pray. The prayer for this month:
Help me to ignite my enthusiasm.
Reignite the child in me who has just heard the good news: it’s a new day!
The Sun came up and it’s time to go out to play!
In this time of history we’re living through, we have seen atrocities with what is happening in the Ukraine (just to mention one example). We have memories in our hearts, shaped as PTSD, around some story that’s happened in our lives. Everyone has one of those stories.
And yet, the innocence of our childlike awe of this world is activated when one person (Aries) walks into the room carrying enthusiasm, delight, and excitement at the simplest of acts.
If you are getting tired — if you are lacking hope — do your prayers.
Pray for your heart to be opened. The single ingredient of Aries at its best is that they will fight for love. They will try again. Never give up. I carry this energy with so much gratitude.
As an older soul, there are plenty of us who have seen so much over lifetimes. Giving up hope is easy. And yet, Aries’ youthful energetics are a result of fire. My enthusiasm is a result of my total and complete love of Astrology.
When all else fails and my hope thins, I look at a chart — my chart, anyone’s chart — and instantly, I am in awe. This is the Aries energetic: to be studying the cosmic intelligence that comes from up high, reminding us that there is hope. There is a perfected system that is steeped in wisdom and change, and it’s called Astrology. Thank Goddess.
So if you are weary — if this season of Aries has not turned up the volume in your life — come study with us. Study your chart. Get a reading.
It is never too late to have a happy childhood. It is never too late to reignite the energy of the kid in you who is hopeful and filled with potential.
There are side effects of fire, it is not always appreciated — and yet for my soul to continue giving, laughing, sharing, working — I attribute my never-ending enthusiasm to the energy of this sky. The Aries person has to not care if they are too much, too loud or too honest.
If this energy is not easily available to you, fake it ‘til you make it. Watch the kids and follow their lead. Turn up the volume. If you are having problems doing so, ask for help. The angels are waiting for you to ask during this new moon, and we are here for you.

I don’t have Aries in my chart, yet I am as you described Aries. Maybe it is the Taurus in my chart, because I am very excited today and will continue this way well into early fall, I also get excited by food, tastes, sounds, images, all the time! I do not like winter or late fall, though I was born in the middle of winter!
I am a 29deg ♈. Easter is always close to my birthday & I have been challenged a lot lately. Legal, social & living choices are banging at my door. I feel it. Aries Sun, Taurus moon. But my body is feeling week and tired and in pain. Trying to beat it. But taking it slow! I turned 67 a week ago.!

Oh I can certainly feel it! I was fire and pissed off (internally) all effen week… Then I reunited with my friends ins loud, energetic environment thurs/fri /sat and I feel so much better!
