Sun in Taurus, Moon in Scorpio.

Welcome to the Full Moon in Scorpio. This is an important holiday for those who study Alice Bailey and the esoteric laws. This is the Full Moon Buddha was born under and died under. It indicates a time to pause, to stop, to reflect.

In the Alice Bailey community they were informed that this year (2025) is of great significance. Why? It is written that the Great Ones (those who watch over this planet from the other side), also known as the Hierarchy, are meeting for the first time in 100 years under this Full Moon to review the human condition and the next steps in our evolution. The core principles in Alice Bailey’s books are all about the progression of our species as we evolve into the new age.

In fact, I am joining the online classes held in Arizona so I can participate in the spiritual responsibility that I carry to this lineage. Even though we cannot actually feel their meeting, or participate consciously with them, I will be offering my awareness in silence. I am inviting you to do the same.

This lineage is based on the teachings of Djwhal Khul, who wrote 24 books with the assistance of Alice Bailey. She sat with a typewriter back in the early 1900’s and allowed DK to channel his wisdom and his voice through her books.

He is a Tibetan, an Ascended Master who understood human nature and our function as spiritual beings in a physical world. He informed us of the wisdom that is leading us into the Aquarian age. The first book that she channeled/wrote was called, Initiation Human and Solar, and it addressed the split between our soul and our ego.

In my new book, I Don’t Believe In Astrology, I also address our resistance to our soul, better known as our Rising sign. The idea is that the function of humans is to resist our spirituality until there is a crisis brought upon us, so that at some point we will then choose to bridge the split. Here is where we do the work that allows the soul to be infused with the ego. We become so called ‘spiritual’ – valuing the invisible world and remembering who we are.

You can read about this in my book, and obviously in Alice Bailey’s books, as well. Spoiler alert: her books are very difficult to decipher, she writes in a language that is not familiar.

Her books purport that this soul/ego split is the reason for all the duality that exists in the human psyche. It is in our human nature to polarize ourselves. We trust, then we don’t trust. We say “yes,” then we say “no.” This Full Moon is a chance to address the duality dilemma that we all live with. Especially during a Full Moon, when the Sun and Moon are directly opposite one another.

Taurus wants to be gentle, to live a life of simplicity. While Scorpio on the other hand, is constantly challenged by the desire for more, to create more, to seek abundance.  Taurus and Scorpio represent the split between simplicity and ambition.

You know the split. How easy is it to be dissatisfied with reality rather than accepting what is? Think of these times we live in: simplicity seems dated, complexity is fully present.

During this Full Moon, there is the invitation to return to the acceptance of what is.

The simple part: you are in a body, you wanted to come down here, you are in the exact circumstance that life wanted you to learn from. The complex part: you are confused, unsatisfied, and frustrated with what life has handed you.

It’s no surprise that Taurus, the Sun sign Buddha was born under, revolves around this teaching: “All suffering comes from attachment.”  Buddha was so sad when he realized there was poverty and pain. He sat under a sacred Bodhi Tree where he spent many days in meditation until he found peace, and was enlightened.

Enlightenment comes from the full acceptance of this reality, especially now during this crazy era. Pretend you love what is. Say it out loud: I accept what is. I surrender, I am in love with life.

You are right where you ought to be. Period. This Full Moon is yelling at us: just accept. Sit during the Full Moon and call forward the higher beings while saying out loud: I am here to be of service. Count me in as you reflect on our species. I want to be part of the change and to trust in what is.

This Full Moon in Scorpio has great meaning. I will be praying and listening. Join me. What a meaningful time this is.

With warmth,

Deb

What if you aren’t supposed to accept what is? You can fall out of love just as easily as you can fall in love. I feel that anyone who is here on earth really doesn’t have the answer or they wouldn’t be here. We all ponder, question. Some have an ideology that they pronounce loudly to others yearning for an adoption of the masses so they can feel as if they’ve found the answer. What if there was not an answer? What if there isn’t a truth? If you can master your brain, then that might be the answer. The answer will be different for each one, unique as they are.

Letting go? Is the famous singer that can no longer hit the high note supposed to let go? As their heart is breaking over and over again in agony over days of glory lost, there are only so. many pieces they can grab on to and hold. Everyone knows a tear will escape. Rolling down one’s face. I heard recently that Scorpio was the most admired sign. The bad boy or girl of the zodiac. Perception is a small piece.

Tread light. Going deep can get dirty. A smile can break the path the tear was traveling. Even flow. Dragging the trenches might take you too far down. Just each day, I take. I give Taurus my time. Better a gentle drink of nectar than a sting from a moment of badness.
