Here comes a worker. Every true Capricorn loves the feeling of a completed list delegated to all the right team players, a good-looking spreadsheet, and a belt for the suspender to assure you’re secure. 

Yes, says every Cap; let’s keep this safe, solid, and guaranteed for success. But do not forget a really good dinner at the best restaurant in town at the end of the week, there early enough to avoid the crowds – and to be sure to end the day with a well-chosen glass of something yummy, or at least dessert.  

A Double Capricorn sky brings a call for conviction as you stand next to good old New Year demanding resolutions. What are they for you – have you thought of them yet? Let me make it easy: just pick a word for the year.  What will my word be for the year, and where shall I write it down in order to remind myself of my commitment?

Personally, every year, I choose a word to describe my focus. One year, it was “creativity,” one year, it was “decisiveness.” This year, it is stillness within movement. Those are my several words.

Many of you know that my book will be released on April 8, 2025. I will be busy mid-2025 with book tours, podcasts, and a lot of movement. This project was helmed by a writing partner: Capricorn Rising. You can be sure that I always seek Capricorns in my business affairs. I collect these people. She, Eve, made my work totally doable.

Probably because of two things: her amazing writing skill, filled with details and an ability to speak in my voice (hello, four planets in Aquarius) and her very familiar work ethic she has because of Capricorn Rising. We both drilled down into Astrology, and yes, we followed through without ever missing one of our scheduled meetings for writing, or our calls, or our countless editing meetings. We worked really well together.

This is the essence of Capricorn. Timely, hard working, and zero permission for slacking.

Now, let’s get back to you and your word. I know that most people do not work like Eve and I do; they need breaks, they forget, they don’t write everything down. Some of you flirt with excellence but haven’t committed to it yet. 

Use this New Moon to go in and ask yourself: am I pouring my life force into this life? What is standing between me and my best effort? What would it take to reignite your love for you and your contribution?

Our school doors aren’t officially open yet; however, some of you are already exploring our early enrollment options. School starts only twice a year: February and September.  If you want to challenge yourself to really take a dive into you and your chart, maybe for the first time, come study with us. But give it your all. I love to see students with Capricorn in their chart…it’s an indication of a great student. Is there a commitment you can make at this time?

This year, 2025, will be a time to introduce some of the earliest signs of societal change. Including our need to be serious about kindness and helping others (who are, by the way, one of us) and serious about diversity and the ability to accept change – because the world is constantly full of changes. Yes, we are in an emerging cycle referred to as the Aquarian age, but we are still waiting for the demands of life to change. We aren’t there yet… but in 2025, we can sense something is about to break: stay tuned. Pull up your Capricorn pants with your belt on your suspenders. Double up with safety by using your most advanced skill set to be:

• Devoted to results
• Seeking excellence
• No nonsense, no excuses, and a willingness to do the heavy lifting
