Moon in Libra, Sun in Libra

Hello Double Libra. The first thing I think of is Sting. He has role modeled this energy for me since I first met him. I worked with Sting for over a year and a half traveling with The Police. Then, last month, I had the chance to work with Sting right before his birthday here in Colorado! What an artist he is. A natural collaborator. Someone whose taste buds stand out even when just putting on his jeans.

Debra and Sting BackstageIf you look at all of Sting’s photos you will see his artistry. The sweater, the colors, the mood. His physical beauty, which is associated with the Venusian sign of Libra. He is a piece of art that elicits love, but oh my, when that harmony is interrupted…Libra is the part in all of us who longs for harmony at all costs.

Their gifts are reading, writing, creating art, practicing their instrument and being alone. Doing business in a way that has them stand apart because they are a team player who really tries to lead with kindness.

I came to understand Libra’s distaste for the lack of sweetness when I toured with Sting during his Police Reunion tour. After 23 years of being broken up, his production company suggested the band get back together to play all the Police classics. Sting said, “Okay.” Who wouldn’t with the huge price tag they were offering? As expected: every concert was sold out.

However, there were conflicts. As Sting said: think of having been divorced and then having to get in bed with your ex. Not a comfortable, harmonious sight. But in true Libra fashion, he would make it good for all of us, so on stage they rocked it. Sold out audiences all over the world. I played mediator; truth be told I was not always so successful, however without a doubt they did a great job onstage. It was offstage that their disharmony showed up.

When the tour was over, so was my job. I learned so much about Libra’s ability to make it work, to gloss over the disharmony, and to make do. We all do this in our relationships. We have a tolerance to keep our husbands/wives/friends/relatives happy even when there is something under the surface that is bugging us. Just go to the other room. Make it okay – says double Libra – for the kids, for the completion of the job, in the name of harmony. However, Sting would not revisit another tour with that band. No way, at least he wouldn’t back then. I’m sure everything softens over time.

You too can take an inventory under this New Moon: how much do you put aside? Are you ready to tell the truth? Are there any leftover relationships in your world that need updating? This is the New Moon to do so.

The prayer for this New Moon:
Help me to be true to my real self.
Allow my artist permission in all that I do.
Give me permission to be honest with myself and with others.
I long for authentic love that has truth and depth to it.

Go for it and let me know how this New Moon in Libra treats you.

P.S. We are in eclipse season which can change up all kinds of things – especially relationships. Tell me how it’s going for you.

My relationships are very estranged and rocky at this point in my life. I have no real friends nor family because they have all taken the unrighteous road of sell out someone so as to save face among the heard. I cannot do that nor would i want too honestly. Also, im not willing to compromise considering they have all hurt me incredibly, and in a way thats so devastating it makes it hard to even speak on due to the painfully wretched eay they chose to go about it. I would love to have real relationships with humans but they wont allow their egos’ go in the name of friendship/lover/family. There value of that word carrys no weight among then nor do they care, i say that because i have spoke on it and with no effort to change has came from any of the people whom i refer to as “they.”

I’m teaching others how to treat others right at this moment. I’ve filled in a gap as a hairdresser of 50 years…my friend ( hairdresser) is retiring. I think I’m being a good friend to help the transition of her life into retirement. The making it work with all people in my hair salon is a real tough one… our people get along well even though there are some emotionally challenging times amongst us… a stylist just had neck surgery- isn’t coming back to work and retiring after 47 years in the business.. and another stylist retiring next year.. clients are scrambling and doing their best to accommodate us ( there trusted friends) and transition to a new stylist or salon. Navigating this is an “ extreme “ Libra experience for me and all who are trying to make it smooth with everyone. So far so good. We’re warm and fuzzy with love and understanding… so far. Looks beautiful and I’m holding my breath until the last day when I can do my last client for my friend , go home and feel like I’ve made a difference for them and us. My Mars is in Libra, sun in Scorpio. I work with a quad- Libra and another Scorpio sun…the retiring one is Pisces on the cusp of Aries…the next to retire is a Libra… power with smooth definition of order out of chaos. Love to all and compassion with grace… the younger stylists are finding ways to stretch their skills and navigate the balancing point of self care while making sure everyone gets along….we’re kind people. We hold each other up and blur the edges of any angst… love in all things.

The truth is that things are not going well. There is a lot of disruption in my life. I am estranged from my youngest daughter and have much concern for her three children. This leads me to worry and wonder about my living arrangements. I long for peace and harmony in my life.

Weellll. After a long absence from my life, my Aquarian son, Libra rising, is back in my life. This reunion, though appreciated, hasn’t been the easiest. I am glad he’s back along with his wife and my grandson! We are, in essence, getting to know one another, again. My door has always been open. His? Not so much. It’s difficult to resolve issues when someone refuses to speak to you!

Now that they are nearer, having moved from San Diego to Albuquerque, my hope, dream and prayers have always been that one day all would be forgiven…. on both sides. We’ll see.

    HI Debra and All,

I have a Libra stellium in the 4th house so I have loads of Cardinal energy, but with the softer signs/house of Libra/Cancer…so that saying “steal hand in a velvet glove” feels very much a match for so much energy from Venus. Also my moon is in Taurus and my hubby is a Taurus. Our relationship is great.

But I don’t know what in the heck is going on this last week or so, but this doesn’t feel like Libra season at all to me! So many wars, hatred, totally disharmonious relationships galore! I’ve been at my job a little over 2 years, had great reviews, bonuses and was planning on a promotion (boss loves me and I love my team); but I feel like the energy is not Libra, but ARIES! So many fights, one person from another team (an Aries) is going out of their way to attack me and my team (or steal them from me). Last week our company announced it was being bought out by a foreign company and I am losing my job at the end of the month (they will squish all the people into one group, my team included). So there’s no more partnership, team work and harmony – it’s all chaos, the war in Israel, Ukraine and at work.

It was my birthday last week and my hubby took me away which was nice. RIght up until his work texted him and gave him an ‘order’ (he works in a bank). My hubby who is the epitome of easy going and hard working (he’s a Taurus, that just got a bonus last week) got a call Friday which we returned on Saturday while we were away on vacation for my birthday….and it was the boss saying “report to ____ office immediately on Tuesday”. The office is tripple the distance from home, there was no discusssion or talking over possible solutions…they wanted him in a crappy branch office BECAUSE he was so good. But he’s doing to great in his current office, and taking on so many additional projects and tasks…that’s why he wants to stay where he’s at. Everyone loves him. Now him being forced to stop working where he’s happy and working now (providing all the extra help, completing tons of extra projects, volunteering to take over handling all the online, phone and email complaints, support opening new branches (twice in about a year), support sales calls/sales team AND cover fraud…and they (without even asking him what he wanted) forced him to leave his office and all that behind to be a teller and in that teller role manage the branch (the branch that’s tripple the distance, and pretty much everyone quits or gets fired from in less than a year)!

We both feel like the world is completely ass backward, all about power plays, disharmony, wars, dominance and fighting. Debra and all, Something is not right. This doesn’t feel like Libra season at all with all these wars, anti-peace movements and just nasty aggressive “me, me, me” energy.

Usually Libra feels the opposite. “We, we we”! I am not my usual happy self. I am feeling steal hand bust right out of it’s velvet glove and I don’t really like this feeling at all.

To everyone else above. I am happy some of you were able to reconcile (that seems to Debs example) just right. And for those of us that are baffled by the stress, hurt and wars popping up be it literally or figuratively….I feel you sisters and brothers! I know this will pass….it just feels icky right now for me. Let’s try to send out positive or at least peacful Libra vibes 🙂 Maybe that will help 🙂

Hugs and thanks for sharing your story about Sting and the Police 🙂 They are one of my favorite bands, and I saw them on their reunion tour around 2006? At Bonnaroo festival….were you there then Deb? That would have been neat if our paths crossed way back then and here we are today!

Thanks everyone for reading and posting your own comments, thoughts and insights 🙂

Hello Tara! Wow, sorry to hear you are having such chaos, but from the ashes we rise again! You are not alone in your feelings, at all! The reason Libra season feels flipped upside down is due to some other transits right now AND the powerful Eclipse we just had. All the energy is amped. This New Moon in Libra upon the Eclipse is in the S. Node – which is about release, and that puts Aries at the N. Node. The Eclipse emphasizes the polarity between Libra and Aries – which is Peace and War. Not to mention the intense Pluto transit. It’s no wonder why this Libra season is so different and feels off. Please know that this too shall pass! That’s why we study Astrology, so we can make sense of what’s happening and prepare our energy to ride the waves of transformation taking place in the world. Libra is still about balance, but we cannot control outside factors. We can only do the work within ourselves. Balance the chaos in your life with meditation, breath, anything that brings peace and calm to you. Navigate as best you can and turn on your Observer to release judgment. Sending hugs!!!

Wow, I am Aries and double Libra, this post is so accurate for my life experience. Too much to say here only that, keeping peace at all costs has been my normal, until now. Aries fire is coming in due to 13.5 months post Hurricane Ian, hole in roof thanks to neighbors tree, water damage, insurance denied my claim, they say minimal damage, no more nice Libra me lol keeping calm is done, always polite, yes, It is time for Aries to push back. So out of my comfort zone.
I love this post, validation for situations in my life.
    Thank you

My daughter recently wrote me a heartbreaking letter about how she felt about me when she was in her teens. Everything suddenly errupted back then between us and it has never truly been mended. She sees things through different eyes to me. I just want things to be put behind us and an end to her reactive behavior. I made a comment to one of my sons about something that happened as a child to him and she believes it is directed at her (she was only 4 wees old at the time). I am to scared to speak when she is around. I pray this new moon will bring her back to me and we can start moving forward on a positive note. I dearly don’t want our relationship to be estranged.

I am sun Capricorn, Aries rising, and moon in Libra. Art, beauty, nature, harmony, peace, and diplomacy have always been important to me. It’s a balancing act but I live life with passion, drive and commitment. That’s how Libra works in my life.

I am stuck between two men. One who provides safety and security. The other who provides calming, wisdom and playfulness. At the moment I have just moved to another location with the first person and the other is back where we came from. I want to let things play out however with this current time I probably need to make some decisions.
