Moon in Scorpio, Sun in Scorpio
There are six planets in Water. That’s A LOT! If you knew Astrology you would know that’s an anomaly. A baby born today would be a wildly sensitive being, with a choice: light or dark.
You cannot say double Scorpio and not wonder – is this light or is this dark? I just flew into Hawaii and read a book called: SOLD by Patricia McCormick, a best seller from years ago that I found on my meanderings in an airport.
I have a Scorpio magnet that always finds the dark, scary, true story that will elicit my emotional realm to its heights. This story is about a young 13-year-old from Nepal that is sold into sexual slavery in India.
I read the book cover to cover. At one point I had to stop, cry; I almost threw up. I knew I was in the land of Scorpio. I am drawn to it because I have North Node in Scorpio, not to mention my 8th House Sun. I have always thought of myself like a vacuum cleaner, inhaling the pain and then if I am lucky, turning the dark into compassion.
This is the flavor of a double Scorpio sky with six planets in Water: a psychic demand to enter the dark fearlessly only to find the light switch and change the story. This is what I do. I touch the pain, the human condition. I have been doing this since I was a child. My entire family is related to Scorpio; both my brothers were born on the same day – November 19th – and both my parents had Saturn in Scorpio. It was a theme in our house.
Can you touch pain? Will you stand face to face with fear? My grandfather was murdered when I was an infant. A tsunami ran through my house, soaking all the rooms with water that never dried up. We suffered for having touched pain so close and personal without resolve.
That was just the beginning. My brother in the ’60s was a drug addict and never found sobriety…or at least for only short moments. My father went down the street called “secrets” for my entire childhood – and I became a well worn Scorpio traveler who understood pain and secrets and at best, transformation.
What does that word even mean? That I, just like you, had to eat the poison of these events when finding my way to metaphysics, which suggested this was my karma. I never knew what that actually meant except that spirit/life/God had her way with me. Life had me in the Scorpio class to learn how to find joy in the midst of my pain.
I did. I have found my way home. No matter how painful the lessons were that had my name on them, I would never lose my view of heaven on Earth, my view of Transformation City.
I am the mayor of Transformation City – thanks to my family, my karma and my chart. It’s not an easy role but the payback is amazing. If you can take the pain body and not stop there but actually continue toward the light in the midst of the dark, never give up, keep looking up, you, too will get home.
This New Moon is so emotional. Here is the code: give thanks no matter the story. Open your heart till it hurts, feel the love and the loss all the while looking for more love. Never stop believing in love. That’s the short answer.
Scorpio’s cheat sheet is to believe and have faith no matter the story line. Not easy. No, not easy and there are no shortcuts. However, when you find mastery in full acceptance, in the power of healing and asking for help, you too can join your own Transformation City and celebrate.
This New Moon is quiet. Just know you are not alone. The pain of this existence is how we are real. Honest. Human. That is the high road of Scorpio.

Can u tell me if I’m doing Nuru massage and I’m putting my energy into their energy with my body and when I when they released her energy I end up with it do I get rid of it just the same way here and the nature.
When I was six my guide told me something similar to this. I love it. I needed to read it this morning, to remember. Thank you.
Wow someone else has gone through or is going through it. I always thought why me? Some of us are just destine to have many tests or transformations . In the near future I would like to have a birth chart done.
Thank you

Thank you so much, dear Debra, for sharing your insights. Many Blessings to you🙏
Thank you, I do spiritual counseling for people and I have a Scorpio moon in the eighth house, the six planets and water I understand and do practice gratitude. It’s a lifesaver. I really enjoyed your letter, and your work that you do.
I appreciate you

Debra, I am a water baby. Grand Trine with Mercury and Mars in Scorpio. Libra Sun, Pisces Moon, Aries Rising. Complain, complain, complain. My inner child is represented by the tardigrade, microscopic water bear that can live in outer space desiccate and be reborn when environmental conditions are favorable. The DSA work has been invaluable to my ongoing transformative process. My sky is all lit up at the moment and the planets have been hard at work! Oh my!!!! Thanks Debra, for keeping me on track.
“Life had me in the Scorpio class to learn how to find joy in the midst of my pain.” With my sun and rising in scorpio as well as a couple of planets in scorpio, that line resonates so deeply for me. I’m fairly new to astrology but the more I learn the more it helps me make sense of my life.
Thank you for your heart in words which, to me, convey a deep understanding of learning to embrace the pain life brings and transformation that is always available. You express courageousness to choose transformation. I too have North Node in Scorpio and sun in 8th house. My first Saturn return began my journey of transformation. It was that or end my life, I couldn’t live in the world with the negative perspective which permeates human consciousness. Now, with the deeper perspective of Astrology to call upon for guidance there is awareness of not just the impact on me, but those I hold dear. 💞💫💞
Thank you for sharing your truly inspiring story.
Your self mastery of changing your thoughts to be positive thirsting for more light love and perspective of who your are who has learned how truly powerful and after much childhood trauma caused by the circumstances you were born into. We all must overcome the scars that can become our comforting haunt. Or choose to do the personal and painful transformation to thirst for the light. Thank you Debra I have learned so much from the videos And all the programs that I listen to and her books also.
I’m thirsting for the light though learning and understanding.
Scorpio is my 4th house South Node. One of my daughters that I now caregive for is born with a rare genetic disposition, she has overcome drug and alcohol addiction and now food addicted. She is the Aquarian and I love her when she is not so bossy.
She lives in an 80 year old body and went through menopause at 17.
My other daughter has been fighting Heroin addiction for years and is presently clean,, a highly intellectual Gemini.
I struggles with sex addiction for years and now am most happy eating chocolate and being in nature in solitude. I am ina Scorpio progression moon until 2026 sometime and feel like growing mushrooms and getting that herb room going, or taking off to the yoga retreat in Figi.
I can see the other side and with the veil thingy this time of year it’s important to stay yin cuz there’s some real interference with AI creeping about. Not cool, not cool. My soul is my soul and it’s not for sale
Too many have let the system take from the mind body soul by design, or by stupidity and ignorance. I share less and less as time goes by. Thanks you for being so epic Debra.
And I too will be addicted to something if I were 4 feet nothing and the world keeps giving ppl into inhumane ways of living.
Sensitivity is a blessing, doesn’t mean we are push overs.
Have a fantastic day everyone. And please please find yourself be yourself 🙏
That was profound. Helpful, hopeful!
Thank you Debra, I really needed to read that today, it certainly hit the spot for me! You have a magical way with words, such a beautiful god given gift, thanks for sharing it with so many! 🙏❤️
Thank you. I needed this today. I’m feeling strung out with emotions today and recently. All water ~ no solid ground beneath me . I have Beptune and the North Node in Scorpio. Sinking in deeply feels like the only and best option. South Node transit is exactly in conjunction with my Ascendant. Lots of uncertainty but certain changes are coming. Being honest with myself and faithful in in the unfolding
❤️🙏
Thanks Debra
So true now looking back. Two parents in Scorpio, one an addict and the other secrets. The addict came from a family of addicts… more Scorpio’s. I was drawn to Scorpio’s until my 30s which lead to lots of emotional heartbreak, and now my life is way more simple and Scorpio free. Going to be an interesting time for me this season.
I love your authenticity, Debra! My moon is in Scorpio. Hawaii sounds like a wonderful place to be right now, as the days shorten and become wet and blustery where I live!.

Today is my Born Day, and after going through the psychological wash cycle, emotional rinse cycle, and been physically Rung Out.. I Snapped.
And then yesterday, while being hung my Self out to dry in the winds of the Mother Ocean on the beach of Maui, everything *clicked*, and set into motion the transformation, and I came out of it.
Returned home, in the literal sense and also in a Whole Being~ness Way.
I feel at ease and at Peace and actually more stable than ever in these ways and tjis Light, like Ahhhhhhh
Feeling dis~solved and re~solved to perfection.
And I see, it’s no wonder.
Gratitude to the water Spirit and to you Debra, Level 1 HAS TRULY CHANGED MY LIFE! 🌊🐚💙🐚🌊
Yes,I have felt my,and others pain since I was a child too….often in fear….Thankyou for helping me to remember that I need to lead with ❤️ love……
Debra – This is so profound. I have a dear friend with sun in the 8th house and this could be her transformation story. Her mother murdered her sister and it is not something that can be proved so she is free to keep imposing medical abuse on other family members.
My friend got out and fights the good fight for love and light daily. Thank you for sharing your story of finding the love.
Thank you for this powerful, raw and inspiring story. ❣️
I can relate with your past experiences. COMPASSIONATE has been hitting me from everywhere not literally but being the Topic of a conversation, while I’m reading. I like to think I’m a compassionate guy but lately I’ve been on a spiritual path and have been exploring UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. And compassion is vital. I’m sorry I’m texting too much. I’m sure you understand… Victor
I love this piece of writing. I have a stellium in Scorpio and it has been tough. I recently wrote in my journal how, despite the pain of the darkness, experiencing it in it’s fullness has allowed luminosity in so many aspects of my being and life. The power to hold the duality of this experience.
I am currently studying level 2 and LOVING it. Thank you for this gift, Debra.
Thank you for this writing, Debra. I have so much water in my chart, I wish I was someone else most of the time. You have helped me so much!
