The double Leo sky this week lends itself to a conversation of surprises.

You would think that having the Sun and Moon in Leo would bring a loud, fiery energy that craves attention and has endless creativity. Yes to the creativity, but no to the outgoing nature that would be implied with “Double Leo.”

Quite the opposite — Leos are shy and even introverted. That is, until they are called forward to play a role or take the lead, and then their power shows up in spades.

All through my career, people who are influencers have found me. I was always curious how without soliciting the ‘famous,’ they would appear to me, wanting a reading.

It has been a confusing puzzle, not just for me but for others, too. I have wondered why people have thought my ‘ego’ drew them to me.

This is the conversation that aligns with Leo — they are known for the Ego as a primary personality trait. They are the folks who are a bit louder, shinier, and more likely to wear their success on the outside for all to see.

The other night, my stepson called me out on my relationship with celebrities. He implied that I was impressed with myself having been the Astrologer to the likes of: Sting, Madonna, Aaron Rodgers, Shailene Woodley, Jennifer Aniston, India Arie…

Yes, I have had my share of celebrities — none of whom I ever sought out. All of them found me. However, that was not what my stepson was calling out; he was questioning my attitude about these people — and if I liked that I had their names in my Rolodex. This is so LEO!

I was surprised and had to defend myself: while it does delight me that these superstars (all of whom have Leo/Fire in their charts) have found me and yes, I do find great pleasure in being the Astrological mirror for beings who are often the biggest energy in the room, I am not impressed.

We had a great conversation when we both understood what the other was saying and the Leo energy was addressed. The right use of a sky like this is to feel totally safe in who you are, regardless of being misinterpreted.

What if we all could hold to our own truths, knowing that you are being your authentic and real self? There is no need to react to others who may not see and understand who and what you are.

This is one of the greatest lessons of Leo. If we all carried the self confidence to hold our voice intact, show up with all our power, and share our hearts willingly, what a world this would be.

During this sky, ask yourself: If you were truly self confident, how would your world look? Would you be different? Would you run your own business? Would you change your lifestyle?

Double Leo is misinterpreted by Astrologers to be the one who ‘needs’ attention and will grab it. There is some truth to that. They are strong, bossy, and direct.

Then there is the shyer, internal voice of Leo who performs and plays the role this life has handed them, comes off the stage and returns to their shy self — without preference for either role.

Without preference for either role. This is the mastery of Leo.

Sure, I can utilize my ego to serve, perform, share, or not… whatever the soul requests. This is why this double-Leo moon can feel confusing.

Am I a showoff with my success? Or is it ok to be shy and just let my love for life be enough, without showing off, going public and just being a happy introvert?

Which one are you? To be confident on either side is the name of the game.

Enjoy the dark sky and allow yourself to pray: May I be comfortable in my skin just the way I am. Allow me to know self acceptance and the joy therein.
