Sun in Leo. Moon in Leo. Solar eclipse.
Let me start by describing the significance of an eclipse before we describe this specific one.
Four times a year, we have eclipses. They happen back-to-back as a team. It’s under a Full Moon and a New Moon. When it’s a New Moon, as it is now, you’re going to see a dark sky.
This suggests reflection because, in times of old, we had no means to see in the darkness of night. Therefore, we became internal, reclusive, perhaps even entering times of prayer.
The theme of this particular eclipse, being a double Leo, is all about self-love. So, using this auspicious evening that was revered by the ancient ones, let me suggest an exercise to do.
If you’re willing, look in the mirror, into your own eyes, and practice saying: “I love you- or I’m learning to love you. I see you, and I appreciate how difficult this life has been for you.”
Then just gaze for a moment as though you were seeing through God’s eyes, as though your angels were looking at you.
When I practice this, I’m always moved by the deep inner love I have cultivated over the years with this practice. Nothing matters more in this lifetime than the relationship between you and you.
So this eclipse, which is simply a marker in time to make a proclamation or break a habit, is a perfect opportunity for you to think, I’m going to begin a new relationship with myself. I’m actually going to learn how to love me. I’m going to practice that mirror exercise that Debra suggested, and perhaps, for the first time in my life, I’m going to fall in love, or at least begin to fall in love, with who I really am.
And if I dare to say so… this is the function of Astrology. I think you know the doors are open for our school, but if you don’t, let me tell you.
Twice a year, the school doors open: during August and January. When I tell you that the function of Astrology is for you to fall in love with yourself, do you believe me?
This eclipse is requesting a marriage between you and you under the sky, with an intention to let your soul take over your life. In other words, for you to fall in love with you.
If these newsletters have any function at all in the name of inspiration, and you know there’s an eclipse coming, and you know your interest in Astrology continues- that’s why you read these.
Then do the mirror exercise. I’ll be doing it too.

I suppose I should tell myself what I say to my children. Love yourself before you can love another, My younger self. Definitely would have said I’am enjoying myself. Relationships with long term ones, everything gets twisted next minute you are asking yourself, what am I doing. How did I enter this relationship stay for so long, short answer to that would be my children. To find myself, to whom I was ment to be all along.

Louise Hay introduced me to mirror work. It has been harder than the days I was a kid gazing in the mirror, mesmerized by the reflection being me. The work is worth it, and despite bouts of absence, when I return to the mirror, I am pleased to see me.
Learning to love myself is definitely a process.

It’s actually unnatural for me to talk about myself. I’m much more inclined to get curious about you.
This practice of loving myself makes me notice how I feel a level of disconnection, and yet, I’m willing to respond to flashes of insight that makes me take action. It’s a skill I’ve been practicing for years. I have the confidence to serve others as a healing strategist. I can love and nurture myself by caring for my physical needs, I feel satisfied and complete when my nest is cozy. But there’s still that missing piece that makes me feel totally in alignment with loving myself.

I am at a crossroads in my life. I have been living with a narcissist for over 40 years. It has become unbearable. I am a Pisces/Cancer/Virgo. This is helping me to understand and start doing more to take care of myself.
I have been doing mirror work for years or maybe decades but I do it naked. I have suggested to women and they don’t want to accept this is great to do. In years of healing I found a core issue is a strong self esteem. Loving your videos. As a Gemini rising I am ready for a few miracles. I have mars uranus and Saturn in my first house.
