Sun in Libra. Moon in Aries.
I am here to keep my heart open at all costs.
My company just went through a changing of the guard. It happened last during Covid, and both times it was so uncomfortable – at first. Sure, I saw something coming, I’m an Astrologer. I felt it, yet I was not prepared for how big a shift.
Looking at all the players, this change was well described by the stars. Nonetheless, the large changes were disruptive – even radical, and so like all humans who do not like change, I resisted. I dragged my feet. I pretended it would self-correct and held out for the positive transition. That the communication line between the players, which for years was alive and clear, would return. It didn’t.
It’s the same in every change. We feel it, we sense it, but we wait for life to shout: NOW IS THE TIME FOR CHANGE – no doubts about it.
Are you good with change?
While life wanted change, I wanted same/same. Guilty as charged. In this moment, it feels so good to call myself out. I was in denial and then lost my power. Because I was asleep at the wheel.
I feel like my story echoes what we are all living through. Is it not obvious that our world is changing? Life is demanding. We realize that business as usual – the old “trust the government”, “the church has your back”, “the leaders are wise” – has left the building.
No matter your politics, no matter your preference, I can trust that something in your world is changing that you are wishing would stay the same. We argue with life’s timing and we never win.
It is time under this Full Moon to face the hard truth – we are in the midst of the changing of the guards. We are watching the dismantling of America – the United States. We are in the midst of great unrest, not to mention what is happening in so many countries.
Coming soon to your neighborhood, under this Full Moon in Aries, you will be fighting for your heart to stay open and to be heard by the opposing force in your politics. Why? Because February 15, 2026, Saturn will enter Aries. This Full Moon in Aries is a preview, asking: how much do you care?
How willing are you to fight? Or are you needing more angst to get moving?
In my story, as soon as I realized what life was asking me, I got on it. And wow, what a shift occurred – much better than I ever imagined. So I want to ask you:
Are you willing to stay the course and wait for the alarm clock to scream CHANGE (that would be February 2026) or can you read the signs now? Do you see life sending you options for you to step up – offer your leadership? Because this is the way of the future.
No one needs to give you your assignment. You know what life is asking. You can argue, blame, point fingers and then one day you will see that you are in charge of everything in your world. EVERYTHING.
No blame and shame. You have the power to align with the stars – but only at the moment when they are ready to push you forward. So accept your resistance. Celebrate the culprit who pushed you into change. Or the circumstance that demanded you move.
Nothing about this life is being done without wanting you to learn and assume the adult position that everything that happens to you is your responsibility.
I see now that I was unable to shift without someone setting me up – through pain, through neglect, through confusion – it was all in service to my soul. And truthfully what is happening now in our world is that we need to let go.
Because of my mindset, I do believe we are in the midst of a miracle. We just can’t see it.
Imagine a world where we could read the signs, move with the cosmic flow and let go of resistance to full acceptance. I did finally get there. I admitted my fears and now I am home inside my heart, fighting to keep it open no matter what.
Changes are here. WE get to prepare. Simply by practicing faith and trust. Every day the Sun comes up, the Moon moves in perfect increments. We can truly depend on change and on the stars.
All I know is that I trust life, even when it gets rocky.
How about you?

Thank you for sharing your innermost pain and growth
Thank you, you truly inspire.
Thank you for sharing this, Debra.
I appreciate your encouragement to keep our hearts open and to lean into change instead of resisting it.
At the same time, I think it’s important to name that not all resistance comes from denial; sometimes resistance takes the form of healthy boundaries.
Keeping our hearts open doesn’t mean leaving them unprotected, and boundaries can actually be what allows us to love more safely.
Also, while I agree that taking responsibility for our choices is part of adulthood, I one hundred percent disagree with the idea that we are responsible for everything in our lives.
For many people, systemic forces like poverty, racism, sexism, and homophobia shape reality in ways that aren’t chosen or created by the individual.
In those cases, true maturity means discerning what is ours to carry and what belongs to larger systems of power.
I love your reminder to trust life and the stars, and I also believe we can hold that faith while staying clear-eyed about the realities of greed and injustice on this planet.
To me, that balance, openness with protection and faith with discernment feels like alignment.
Well said 🩵
It is interesting how hard we resist change considering our level of intelligence and the fact that it is the only constant in life. When I lost my marriage and career simultaneously, it was, and still is, the most devastating thing I’ve gone through. But I learned that the most important changes are eventually forced when I resist, uncomfortable for a time, but something I should have addressed. Life isn’t perfect, but I’m free from the shackles I spent years trying to wear and justify. I see the national and global transition in the same light. I hope we can all take the high road through it together with comfort and compassion over conflict and combat. But likely it will be a combination of both.
That really resonated with me!!!!
Thank you Debra for sharing your insights and perspective, you are another voice helping me remember.
Thank you for your vulnerability, Debra. Intense transitions are not easy to talk about. The blessing is in knowing that these lessons were all “in the cards” — or in the stars. I go back and forth between acceptance and then heartbreak and then seeing the big picture. How could what is happening be part of the bigger plan? Do we need crisis to shift into higher ways of being as a collective? Part of me is in denial and can’t believe we ever let it get this bad. I want to fix all of our problems — and yesterday! I feel the most sadness for our children who will inherit the mess we have perpetuated. Yet, we must focus our energies and become forces of infectious goodness because what other choice is there? Thank you for your wisdom and for using your powerful voice to soothe and guide us. To be a Leader in these times of great transition is not easy, especially when you are going through uncomfortable transitions yourself. Sending you light to continue your important work to keep the Vision alive of a more kind, enlightened future for all of us.
Beautifully said. Ditto
OMG ,YES my life us rocking and rolling. I realize I would not go ahead with the changes necessary if the catalyst behind my changes didn’t push and allow. I know some of the changes wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t make the effort to go forward with the Astrology One class. Impetus to carry on where I may not of. I want to be able to see this in the stars, so much more to learn. Thank you
Thanks for this reminder Debra! It came on a day that I was tired of adulting and not owning my power.
Feeling like I am being cracked open & ready for a bigger life than I’ve been living.
I also trust life in the food and bad times 🌅🌕
The sun will come out tomorrow 💖
The morning in will come out tonight.
I do feel anxious lately t@with the constant changes happening. I work hard to do my best. Listen to
My heart and be supportive for those struggling during this time of major shift .
Thanks Debra and your team. I am studying Astrology here in Australia with a beautiful lady Dorothy Barr. I am at present finding it challenging to change as I want to move forward in my life. I have just placed my father in a Nursing home who has dementia and is blind. Splitting up my parents who have been together for 67 years has been hard. Mum has done an amazing job caring for dad at home but home is no longer safe for him to leave in. It is hard when you are a single and you do not have anyone to share your thoughts with. I am very mindful not to place my shit onto my friends as we all have stuff going on in our lives. I have been to heaps of goddess work shops and studying Astrology has allowed me to awaken to who I am. I love who I am as a person, I love my body and I have a beautiful heart. Just on sure on my next steps moving forward. Thanks for ready this email. O hope you all have an amazing day 🙂
I’m glad your situation had a happy ending. I love it when that happens! Sometimes there’s just not much you can do about an unwanted situation. I call these tests. During a test about the only thing you can do is practice presence, I think you call it activating the observer. Also, I want to honor you for considering the needs of our young people during this time. I appreciate that so much. Go forward and slay the gremlins!
Thank you, Debra, for your energy and light! I am excited for this shift we are in the midst of. As a Libra born the day before the Aries full Moon in 1956 I’m anticipating great things despite this Crazy train we’re riding. I haven’t been on this path this long to be giving up now. No, it’s not Roses; yet. Hearts open, I’m in!
Thanks Debra for reminding me to to keep to the high road.
Thanks,
