Full Moon in Sagittarius, Sun in Gemini

Two years ago at this exact Full Moon, I had a call talking about sharing our school in international ways. Oh, I was just thrilled. I remember thinking how appropriate – that during this particular Full Moon – which speaks to the Gemini topic of communication, would be influenced by Sagittarius, which addresses other languages and international content.

We all know how life works: it didn’t happen as expected. In fact, those people who brought the idea to me proved to be short-term employees and the idea dropped. It was sad, actually. There was some money exchanged, nothing accomplished, and I was disappointed.

Here we are at this Full Moon once again – only this time I literally just got the news that the new book I am working on will be published in at least six languages. There has been so much ease in this creation. In the weeks leading up to this finalized news, I thought of this Full Moon energy and realized life works in mysterious ways that ALWAYS include twists and turns. My attitude remained open even though I had been hurt and disappointed.

This Full Moon in Sagittarius invites us to dream. Dreams that may include travel or ideas of fulfillment that are way above where you are now and appear impossible. This is the energy of this Full Moon.

In my opinion there are two ways to manifest: some make lists and dream boards and hold an exact vision of what they “want.” Others let the flow of life reveal itself in a surprising way – where they least expect it, a dream finds them. They carry on without goals but delight in the pure form of experience.

There is no right or wrong way according to Astrology – you just stay true to your style. The art of this Full Moon is our ability to be surprised and conscious of our way. Geminis love to pivot, to dance spontaneously through life. While its opposite, Sagittarius, loves to look at the big picture and aim their bow and arrow at the bullseye of their goals. This is why we study Astrology, to be realigned with the style and the manner in which we prefer.

Which one are you? What is your way? I am surely a Gemini. I let life have her way with me, well, not without my list of prayers in my back pocket. This is the prayer that I have carried throughout my life: Let me be of service – to YOU, spirit. Allow my life to be an example of magic and delight. How can I make a difference in this world? Show me. My prayers worked.

I would have never written down a goal that I was going to write another book, however, when life arrived and asked me to do something, I could not say no. It was so easy after the surprise factor. I consulted my inner voice and those that I trust.

It was just like that first decision that I made a very long time ago, where I said: I am available. Use me. I am all yours. You can bet life has used me well.

Can I suggest under this Full Moon, this prayer: How can I be of service? You can ask for joy to be at the center of your service. You can make requests and then watch life have her way. You can insist it be fun, or easy, or with others you love.

It would be inauthentic to tell you that I’ve not been hurt and impacted by my disappointments. Under the influence of Sagittarius, even the heartbreaks along the way became my teachers. The ultimate lesson, said this Full Moon, is to never stop trying and to keep the right attitude. To never let the pain be greater than your desire to keep going.

I am so glad to be sharing once again under this Full Moon, the philosophical reasons we are here. To give (thank you Sagittarius), to grow and learn (thank you Gemini), and to always land in humility and gratitude no matter the circumstance.

I promise I am practicing this right alongside you. None of us will get out of here alive, and all of us have a slew of lessons following us around. Just keep the right attitude and voila, life can be filled with grace and surprise.

Sending you my love under this very energetic Full Moon.

Thank you so much Debra for this wonderful message. I am not sure how I originally got on an email feed from you and I often get swamped with emails and don’t open them but it was meant to be this time that your message reach me.
I feel like I am a combination of just letting life happen and trying to be gracious in the moment but I also find sometimes I wish I could manifest certain things especially in my later years. I will do so with gratitude and also humility as you say and always try to live with joy and in service of the moment. Thanks again.

Debra, about 3 days ago I did just that. I prayed for my appropriate path to be revealed to me. I am ready! I just need the message on what I should do to proceed. It’s funny that I was already inspired to do this prior to your message. “Good minds work in similar ways!” I thank you for this validating message!

I’ve been enjoying your interviews and opening to the seeds planted in your tell me a story class.
Right now I’m off oxygen and was able to titrate down to the lowest amount of meds in years. My goal of course is no meds.
I’m heading to the ocean for the next month. My happy place.
I want to thank you immensely for lighting the spark in me to shake off the patterns that kept me sucked into my own internal quicksand.
You showed me where to look to find myself.
    Thank you,

I do believe that there is a reason for it all. I am me and at peace with my life now.

  • Thankyou Debra,
It was lovely to read how you hold onto hope and miracles happen. I’ve been struggling to write my late son’s biography STICKBOY. I just got news today that a 300 excerpt ( which is basically a shortened version of the book will be published in a book called Flying Solo- an anthology of solo parents in Aotearoa/NZ & their journeys.
I’m delighted and feel as if our story is done maybe or maybe this is just a stepping stone for other publishers to become interested. Who knows! We were both Sag / Tigers as close as can be. We were alike in many ways and of course he is still with me and us. The lessons he taught me were compassion and a deep understanding for those with different abilities.
I will send you a copy once it’s released or I could send you my story if you’d like – email me your email Debra.
I assure you your heart will open over this young Sagi boy called Levi
    Blessed Be

    Hi Debra,
Being a Cancer I’ve always appreciated the way you nurture with warm enthusiasm encouraging us all to live our best lives, and to spread and share the best of ourselves with others. At the most challenging times I would say to myself, “You may be on the bottom step of the ladder, but the only way to go is UP.” I believed it in my 20’s, and now in my late 70’s I’m sure that a positive attitude, and a strong determination can get us through most anything. We all have a higher self if we’d only tune in. Thanks for your inspiring messages, and lessons about moon and planets that help guide us. Your star shines brightly guiding us to a better life. Sherry

Hi Debra, you always know the right thing to say, and you put a big smile on my face every time I follow you online. I have let the Universe, guide me along my way in life, but this time I’m wanting to take a path to be one with nature now that I will be an empty nester. I hope the Universe provides me with all that I set out to do.
