Sun in Pisces. Moon in Virgo.
This portal — two eclipses and now a Mercury Retrograde with the “changing of the guard” — has all of us stopping.
Here is the decision of this Full Moon in Virgo. You can be caught by the hard reality of what is occurring in every country as we move away from democracy, uttering the word “war”… again.
Or, you can live in a spiritual world ripe with hope, rainbows, and a study of the stars, standing away from politics and the pain body as the old world crumbles.
You can hold onto all the New Age concepts of a soon-to-be arriving Golden Age told to us by Nostradamus and the prophets, or be assaulted by scrolling and then the horrible news dripping into every news source. Which is it?
It’s a decision. My friend has been diagnosed with cancer. His diagnosis has changed from stage two to stage four and then back again. He has no hope. Me, being me, asked him, “Can I help you prepare for a miracle?”
“No,” he answered.
War and peace, cancer and health, are not words that go together. They are polarized. Welcome to the Full Moon aspect: the Sun 180 degrees opposite the Moon, demonstrating polarity and a decision. I am an optimist, if for no other reason than to build my spiritual bank account that will say when I leave here: she never gave up. She walked uphill, willing only to get to the light, and never took no for an answer.
I want him to live and fight cancer, yet in my wisdom I am allowing his decisions to be his own. This is not easy for a Grand Trine in Fire with a Moon in Aries and a Saturn in Fire. I want to scream at him: Just try!
I want to scream at the news: take back decency! Be KIND. Do not choose the Dark Ages as the truth. I am a light-bearer no matter the circumstance. In my Pisces world I can conjure, create, and sustain faith no matter what. It’s my superpower.
This portal, this time to look back during a retrograde and watch change arrive in an eclipse, is easy now that I know in my bones: miracles are real. 100 percent. My friend doesn’t think so, and I honor his truth.
You bet I do. I honor his choice. I stand with him wherever he goes. Isn’t that, after all, what friends do? Stay the course, a loyal heart no matter what? Good question. During this eclipse and retrograde, is there anyone you let go of or ghosted because of differing opinions on what is true?
Let it be. You implement decency no matter what — especially if you have a totally different point of view. It’s the means to a peaceful existence. To love your people no matter what.
I’m going to stand by my friend and let him make all the choices… even if I would NEVER do what he decides.
How to fix this world? You cannot. You can just stay true to yourself. Period. Full stop.
Use this info for this eclipse… live and let live. Let them. Let it be. It is impossible to fight with what is. Impossible.
In my Pisces heart, you bet I wish it weren’t true. Hard reality is just that — hard. Welcome to planet Earth.

I like what you just wrote. Thank you for those thoughts. Everything you said was necessary to hear because it is easy to fall into a dark hole. Stat positive ! Life is good ! Dodie
That’s beautiful ❤️
It sure does
Letting them is also freeing and allows a peace that no war can ever solve. thank you Deb for sharing your perspective in these tumultuous times of change on planet earth!!
Thank you dear Debra! This is just the beauty of words I needed to read! I always lead with hope and live by my intuition and guidance from my angel! Love to you 🙄❤️🙃 Gayle
Debra- You are of course blessed with your optimism and loyalty. I believe in miracles as I have had them occur during my 75 years many times. I trust in God. I am going through yet another challenging time personally as well as trying to bring the new world into existence through my actions and prayer. I will choose yet again to trust. TY for your optimism and trust. It’s what we have and who we choose to be.
This resonated so deeply with me. Thank you.
Thank you. Big thank you! The US attack on Iran has been very upsetting to me and it’s so easy to get sucked into every morsel of news and opinion about it. Maybe that’s my Gemini. Thanks for calling all of us back to the light and the truth of what’s ahead. It helps me hold on to the strength of choosing the light over the darkness in every moment as the planets rumble through the sky and their energy brings crashing changes to our world. I need to see the progress more than the dissolution. Or at least remember the dissolution is for the good in the long run, even though it’s cloaked in explosions of dishonor, inhumanity, violence and the basest of movtives. Another astrologer you probably know reminds us to be the observer and that everything is happening right on time. It’s not easy. Thanks for reaching out and for bringing hope and all the elements of love and light back into focus for me today. It really means a lot. Peace, Jan
I believe in MIRACLES. But I have yet to witness one that affects my loved ones or me.
Does believing make miracles happen?
Polarized is definitely the world we live in today. I imagine living with cancer or other fragile medical condition with optimism is just as contradictory as delivering Peace with bombs like our leader does. But perspective is an individual choice for sure. If I want people to respect mine, I have to respect theirs, even if I think it’s atrocious. But I’m also as active as I can be with my voice for change whether it’s politics or my own endless medical issues. My 🔥 trine gives me the chi to stay optimistic, even in bleak hours because pessimism is not a tool. It’s dead weight like concrete shoes. I have never burned a bridge either, even ones that came from my darkest places. If I denounce and curse their mistakes, I have to do the same with mine. We’re all human. ✌️💫
I’m aquarius and I couldn’t agree more. I wish you and your friend joy. I agree about the focus. Is it coincidence that I just told a friend that I couldn’t follow them anymore because they always write political things with capital letters and !!!!.
I still like them, but don’t agree with their politics. The next post I see is yours.
We all have a role to play and a reason for decisions.
I am grateful for you. You are sunlight. Thank you for all you do.
As Debra says, being in the Observer. Within our own hearts and heads we want to fix what is not working or what is not fair or what is broken. But should we go into the ‘fixer’ mode we step out of the Observer. The human experience often comes with fear, pain, and sorrow, and this is the agreement we came here to serve.
So hard..So True🤍🪽
Hello Debra.
To attempt to say the very least, I have been on a roll with staying aligned and monitoring my energy for some time now. Seeing the benefits that I know to be true but aware of the feeling when it’s opposing forces tugging at my feet as I walk this prosperous road of living my best life humanly possible. I’ve been extremely empathetic to worldly events since a child. I’ve watched the late night news while other children were in bed.
All this to say, everything that’s going on in this world is very disheartening. I use my ability to disconnect when it starts to become too much for my spirit to bare by reinforcing my life’s bubble.
So reading this was needed to hear how someone else such as yourself maintain a positive but realistic energy during times out of or control that impacts our feelings and daily stride.
Wow, thanks. My best friend and I talked for hours yesterday about being realists. It’s not easy. It’s not fun. It’s not happy. It’s just real. It sucks. It hurts. It’s desperate. It’s sad. It’s effed up. Deal with it.
I have a quote I made up on my refrigerator that says happiness is a place in my head. I go to when I want to. Well no time like the present.
From one Debra to another…U ALWAYS find the positive. I can stand back and look at your life’s (astrology) work and can happily tell U that you’ve helped SO MANY People. Probably without knowing. So THANK YOU for ALL your informative posts etc. Your knowledge is amazing and incredibly detailed.
Xx
Thanks for the reminder to stay true to myself. Having a spiritual practice and self care is what I can do. Maintain the highest vibration, connect with Source and listen to my guides 🙏
WOW
You’re a really good friend. To accept someone’s decision even when you disagree is not easy but you have! I want to be a friend like you are.
This is hard truth. It is hard but you stand by that friend no matter what. That is love and respect. Thanks Debra
I have been in a similar situation and I asked through faith that they be healed by God‘s world for their higher purpose. And when I pray, I always think prolong life or prolonged death. How much are they suffering and I just lost one of my good friends this morning stage 4 cancer ! She fought to the end
Deborah – look into the work of Dr Bradley Nelson – emotion code and heart wall for your friend with cancer . Perhaps it could help if he were open to it .
As a Pisces, actually a Pisces-Aquarius I understand this spiritual view. Because of my Aquarian dualness I do not share the necessity for pain, your pain, your pain for his loss. I do value his independent decision however …. I see insight … [he] knows he must move on …It is his calling! He wants the quest of True immortality not the material myth.
Am I being unkind. I hope not.
No matter what decisions one makes. We can still pray for them and send them love and light and help them find their way to the light.
I believe everything happens for a reason. Life learning lessons, yes we all have lost so many to illness, but I continue to pray for miracles to all and give them the strength to get through any journey they are on. Lord bless him to find the light and the truth and give him the strength to endure on his next journey in this life
Yup! That’s life in a nutshell, not just eclipses. Sending loving light and best wishes to you all!
Synchronistic email post for me for me to read today. I just worked through some of this “fixing” mentality (based on potential) and abandonment issues hiding deep into my psyche this morning. with my energy advisor. Thank you for providing this message as it further cements work I did 6 hours ago.
Several years ago, I heard a spiritual teacher (I forget which one now) talking about forgiveness and some people’s need to control outcomes. The part that resonated most with me (my “AHA moment” if you will) was the suggestion that we remember that *everyone is on their own path.* I have found this to be so freeing and liberating when, in my opinion, someone I care about makes a “wrong” decision. I remind myself they are simply on their own path (similar to what others call “fulfilling their soul purpose”), and it’s not my place (or task) to interfere with that. Of course this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to help them make a more educated decision by offering relevant information and/or our perspective (if they’re open to it), and then accepting and respecting their ultimate decision, as you’ve done with your friend.
