Moon in Taurus, Sun in Scorpio
A Full Moon – the Sun is in Scorpio, and the Moon is opposite in Taurus. Full Moons are always opposite energies, kind of like politics. One party is 180 degrees opposite the other. Sound familiar? The theme of this conversation: powerful stability. Who has that? Hardly anyone – to be stable no matter the opposition.
Think of rocks, trees, mountains and ancient timeless crystals. I am envious of such creatures, envious of any being that gets to stand still and hold the energy without the noise of the ego and its declarations about the other, the “enemy.”
This election has stirred the pot. We are disturbed or delighted at the outcome. Nothing is neutral. At a Full Moon, the energy increases (it’s where we got the term “lunatics”) as in, the lunar powers take over logic and we howl. Remember when we would howl at the Full Moon?
Remember the Sun went down, and we howled? Oh yeah, last time we howled was during COVID lockdown. Let’s do that again. Howl at the Moon – whether you are happy or sad. What a roller coaster the Moon’s influence is – it has the power to rile us up, keep us from sleep, have us disturbed by big energy, and then the New Moon has us slow down and go in and rest.
Which side of the energetic pendulum are you? I am watching my own ping pong game. Some of you may have seen that a podcast came out, and in two days we hit 200k listeners. Mostly new listeners, not like you who are used to my voice.
I am including that video below. It was a prophetic introduction to these election results. Essentially any Scorpio Sun, Scorpio Rising, 8th house abundant person knows that we are all being asked to celebrate change. Yes, change as we have never seen it before.
Nothing will be the same after November 5, 2024. We are about to endure huge changes from America facing its shadow (hello, Chiron return that happens every 50 years – last time was the resignation of United States President Nixon…this time it’s the celebration of newly elected President Trump.)
Good/bad- who knows? This was what that podcast was about: duality coming to your house, a Full Moon suggesting change and it’s screaming, “Let go!” Nothing you can do to change that will arrive without great manipulation.

This is a time that we surrender to what life is screaming. Let go and trust, said the Trump voters, and it worked. Or let go to fate and trust, said the non-Trump voters.
Whichever way we look at it, we have to trust. I am not sure if that word fits for this Full Moon. Two of the greatest controlling signs in the zodiac: Scorpio and Taurus. You want it your way. Tell them your plans and listen to them laugh.
We are here to learn how to let go. Surrendering allows the rocks, the trees, the mountains, the timeless crystals to share their wisdom. Tell your mind it is merely a noise machine unless sourced from the higher mind.
The wisdom is: Surrender, let go, trust that there is a design, said every real Astrologer. Of course, there is. Do you have trust? I must say – we are all being tested under this Full Moon.
Do you know how to trust internally, even when the external world seems uncertain or scary? What does that even mean? You tell me. Do you trust we are being watched, guided from the masters who are watching us? I’m so curious. Can your Scorpio Taurus side surrender?

Since I barely slept last night I’d say I am in the throughs of the full moon a few days early. To shut up my brain I repeated over and over Surrender surrender surrender. Eventually I did. Isn’t everything about surrender of some kind, related to some thing, place or person. Quite frustrating sometimes but I have to trust that it is true.
Thank you for your wisdom. Maybe if I had the view you see everyday it would be easier!

I believe we get what we deserve, which might not be what we desire. I’m grateful for what happened, which will make those who didn’t vote for president elect re-evaluate themselves, not take many things for granted and know staying in coma is not an option. I feel neutral, because all I can do is me, and I live within me. I have me and that’s all I ever had and will always do. Put one foot in front of the other and stay in the light until you become it – the light.

Hello Jacki! Thank you for your question. So I was essentially saying nothing you do to “change the duality we live in” will happen without challenges. And on the other, I’m saying that if you didn’t get the result you wanted in this election, find trust in this being fate.

I am a Taurus sun and my husband is a Scorpio sun and my twins are Scorpio rising. What a tug between us all. I didn’t realise that Taurus and Scorpio are very controlling. Oh dear! i am definitely a typical Taurean, very grounded, need security in different forms not just money, and love comfort not bling. My husband even though a good man once rattled he will sting you good and proper and there is no coming back from it.
I do try and release and let go of the past and also try and practise gratitude but like most struggle at times.
