Sun in Taurus. Moon in Scorpio.

When Taurus has a Full Moon, it of course always lands in its opposite sign: Scorpio. Think big Full Moon, suggesting we are in for a large dose of Scorpionic energy.

Scorpio: the sign who fearlessly walks into a room that says “do not enter,” with dark lighting- you aren’t supposed to go in there. Like it’s off-limits and something is lurking, stalking you. Remember being a kid and going in the basement? Like that.

This is what just happened to me recently in a new relationship, but because I celebrate Scorpios, I enjoyed every minute of it. I do have a large dose of Scorpio in my chart (North Node is one of several clues that, when necessary, I go there willingly).

I had a blast. I hung out with a Scorpio for a few months. The most energized character with great humor, a lot of chocolate and wine, and raw honesty- some of the time. Scorpio is a secret keeper.

In Astrology, we mark the 15-degree position of Scorpio as an avatar point, producing a supreme energetic that has the potential to operate at a very high, sophisticated level. At their best- think of a Scorpio who has nothing to hide, no secrets, no need to manipulate- you are embraced with yummy charisma.

Both Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson had Jupiter in Scorpio. Scorpio at its best is compelling and even addictive for those of us who love them- not just for their appetite for sex and money. Not all are in the fake spiritual shmiritual world. An evolved Scorpio does not bypass their human- so they will have stories of addiction, betrayal, heartbreak, and if they are real, they will cry openly, revealing their secrets and learning how to heal so they can then become the healer.

I have often said: Scorpio is the only sign that will destroy their ego in the quest for their soul. Think about that. You let people know you’re an addict, or have been abused as a child. You tell your secret of how you betrayed someone without blaming them. Then you can own a badge of having a very tough life- as you became the healer.

Unless it is too much. Unless your whole identity is wrapped up in your wounds. Your stories. The betrayal. This is when it hurts the body (they are prone to physical pain), because if you don’t process the pain out loud, with a therapist or healer, it lingers- for a lifetime if you’re not careful.

Ok now, Full Moon in Scorpio, this Gemini wants to lighten up. To laugh, to play, to find the joy of this existence. Scorpio has such a very large capacity to sit in truth while addressing their pain that it sometimes becomes their home base, their landing pad. A long-time visitor that you just wish would go home.

So during this Full Moon, can I make some suggestions on how to have Scorpio fun? How would a Taurus/Scorpio have fun? Indulgence. I want to say to you- indulge in the yum yum factor. In your pain body. In your fear. In your absolute delight of this life. Pick your adventure: exercise, sex, food, the Michael movie, a concert. You name it… just turn up the volume.

What if we all knew how to live with a healthy version of Scorpio?

I have 3 very close friends with massive stelliums in Scorpio, and wow do they go deep – lifetimes deeply spiritual, psychological, and sometimes traumatic. And all emerged as incredible healers. I have North Node in Scorpio & value so much these friendships that include so much depth…

Compelling but ultimately more about your experience(s) with a Scorpio than what we Scorpios more broadly entail…seemed more a writing in service to others who may come across a Scorpio than anything enlightening or helpful for one…a few subjective comments that this Scorpio wonders how they land with the unacquainted. But I do hope it helps someone…despite the scattered energy in your words….perhaps that has something to do with how some folks are affected by Scorpios?

all the best from someone with 5 planets in Scorpio!!!

Thank you! I’m going to be with Marci Shioff “Healing 3 days “ what a coincidence the moon is gonna be in my first house. My ascendant is Taurus! Yes, I hadn’t taken your classes. I wouldn’t know any of this stuff. You’re amazing.

  • Veronica says:

Does this apply to a Pisces sun/Virgo ascendant/Scorpio moon? Sorry to ask. I’m still eagerly educating myself, haven’t even gotten my chart done due to budget.

Thanks for your time, patience, & consideration!, Vee

    • Lovise says:

This does apply to your scorpio moon. You can look at Debra’s videos on youtube, especially the ones where she talks about scorpio or the moon. The moon is about your emotional patterns and your inner self, so it’s very good to learn about it ;-). And go deep, you are a scorpio moon after all…

  • Being 5 days older than you Debra, my chart is very, very similar to yours! Except my Taurus sun of course! My birth just too in Scorpio. My progressed riding is at 29 degrees Scorpio so I wonder how that affects things too?

Learns something new about Scorpio. Goes to see what degree her twin’s Sun is in Scorpio. Of course, it’s 15 degrees. Of course, it is. And his natal Venus is at 11 degrees Scorpio. Because, of course, it is. Will this full moon end our separation? Don’t know, but I wish him well. It’s got to be harder on him.

  • Elizabeth says:

Pisces sun here, with a whole lot of Scorpio in my chart. This was spot on for me. I follow both signs to get a more accurate reading for where I am, and the combination always gives me a much fuller picture. I enjoyed reading your perspective here! Thank you.
