Full Moon in Sagittarius, Sun in Gemini
What is this moment in time?
No, this moment in time.
There goes time again, demanding attention. It marches through your living room…straight toward center stage. Every single moment of existence, time is watching you.
Just like a fish forgets it is in the water, we forget we are part of an evolutionary program – an operating system designed to help the human species in OUR mission to consistently grow, change, and seek peace. Did we forget our mandate?
The function of time is to continually inspire us to grow and learn, to emerge into the next version of the now – or is it?
During the Full Moon in Gemini season, we talk like this. We ask questions, because there is so much to address: the whiplash of politics, surprisingly old, decaying words still being spoken like war, genocide, poverty.
Shouldn’t time have done her stuff to evolve those negative words toward a peaceful state? Can’t we put those words, those old paradigms into the past, in that bin that says: JUNK? We have no use for them anymore. Not yet, said time.
In walks today,
falls in love with tomorrow,
leaves yesterday behind —
Bringing novelty
fresh beginnings,
dragging around Linus
with an old security blanket in hand
insisting time stands still – it must stay.
The Gemini Full Moon in Sag demands spontaneity, no need for manufactured time. Can we take the steering wheel to move toward a beautiful tomorrow? Aren’t we getting tired of this life and its dark ways insisting on perpetual gravity – aging, graying, and dying?
Maybe you are feeling all riled up, ready to shout, “wake up” as you assist us in this evolutionary mission – by being an example of a human who is still passionate. Maybe you have given up. No matter your age or your energy levels, we have to continue to evolve.
This is why we study Astrology. To utilize an ever-growing mind by considering topics brought to us by the sky:
- Pluto’s arrival in Aquarius (on November 19, 2024, first time in 240 years) – demanding us to rewrite the human condition and its self-destructive ways.
- Neptune’s arrival in Aries (on March 31, 2025, first time in 150 years) – inviting us to reconsider the word “war,” updating a request by our human family to put down our arms.
- Saturn’s arrival in Aries (on May 25, 2025, first time in 30 years) – inviting us to get up and do something about the stale, outdated paradigms.
This summer, there is new movement in the stars. Fire and Air are showing up! Are you tired, or are you energized?
Bye bye, Linus and your security blanket. We need something fresh that is real and solid, and dependable.
This is why I love the stars so much. To know where we are going, I pay attention to the stars and their movement. We as a species must evolve into a kinder version of what we are capable of – or we will end up in the garbage can.
It starts with you, it starts with me. I am doing my best. In the name of blunt truth, what would you change about this reality, if you could? Tell me.
I’ll be doing two talks in Boulder, Colorado in July. If you are interested in sharing your presence, click here to get the details of my in-person appearances.
Hope I get to see you! I want to feel you. What are you sitting with in these crazy times?
With love,
Debra

If I could change one thing about this reality, it would be our understanding of truth—not just as honesty, but as deep alignment with our own divine essence. I dream of a society that honors self-awareness, discernment, and the sacred time it takes to truly know oneself. We are each unique, yet made of the same cosmic dust—your experience is mine, and mine, yours. I am my mother’s experience. I am your mother’s experience. There is no separation. And in that unity, our personal truths become sacred. This Gemini New Moon, I honor the truth of being human
At 85 years young & Capricorn.. so interesting .. 1/5//1940
Thanks, Debra your words are helpful though it is often hard to look up and appreciate
when things are in chaos. There are times when I feel so alone yet invigorated and grateful
just to be.
Thanks Friend

Debra, what a masterpiece your book is!!! 🙌🥇 It touches the soul, as all of your teaching does. Astrology will help us toward peace as a collective. It has to. Reading the Scorpio chapter, I melted. You have such deep insight into all of the signs. You read us like a book, and then hand us that book so that we can learn to love ourselves more. What a gift your teaching is. 🎁 Looking forward to your next book (or books)! Someday, this will be in the classrooms! 🤞
I’ve missed you. I’m used to more of you in email. I can’t get used to Facebook. I don’t like it. But I love you so deeply, Debra. I just do❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your page and videos. They are deep and intuitive. Thank you!
Peace at home. peace abroad. Health before profits. Leaders who put people first.
This full moon in Sagittarius is a big one for me. My dad died in April when Pluto opposed his sun and mars in Leo. Mum has dementia. The family dynamic is falling apart and it is affecting my mental health (Scorpio moon). Being youngest of three sisters, I am just feeling out of control and have little input into what is happening. I need to put the past behind me and move on today. Create my own future.
I love that you written a New book. Your talks with Alex Ferrari were amazing and inspiring!
I’m listning to my ” homeoffice”
I wished I could be in Boulder! Just now not much traveling and especially not USA. I stay close to Sweden and my island.

I can really feel the Pisces in me during these times but it isn’t due to what is going on in the collective. My health has been challenging this year. I’m one who loves being active. I’ve found that I have to push hard to be active with pain. I have Mars in the later degrees of Sagittarius. My Mars will barrel through a barbed wire fence to be free. Lately, Mars has been frustrated. I am tired of the pain. In my SR, I had Pisces rising but I also have two personal planets in Pisces. The Pisces in me wants to go home. Just go home and exit this pain. Anyway, this full Moon is 5 degrees away from my natal Mars. I’m glad planets are moving into fire because the late degree Pisces transits to Mars has been exhausting because Mars isn’t stopping. Mars is going on that hike regardless of the pain. Thank you for the blog post and take care!
My Taurus moon LOVES Linus and his security blanket. I don’t want to say goodbye to him!
Love from Southern California 🙂 I really appreciate all your teachings. I love the blend of your gifts as an Astrologer, Phycologist, and your intuitive gifts. Your visit with Alex is always so amazing! The way you play with each other, and yet share so much information with all of us on how to go forward in our own lives. I wish I could be there with you in Colorado, but I am spending my days attaining my perfect job. My sun is Cancer, Moon Aquarius, and Ascendant Scorpio. In a lot of ways I am able to relate the traits you were teasing about with Alex. Thank you for all you do and share with me/us.
Fascinated to learn of the two words in your arm tattoo in your meeting with Alex. Also liked all of the above comments. Other than being a LEO don’t know squat about my direction from the Stars. Hi Debra heard your story on Emilio’s podcast. I want to know more about myself as a Gemini. Born 13 June 1953. Also love Tarot looking for your info on this.

Thank for your blunt love. I did accomplish level 1 and I think I may audit the course again someday, I need more time to absorb the information. A very big hug from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada
