Sun in Virgo. Moon in Pisces. Lunar eclipse.
This eclipse portal started August 12th and ends under the Full Moon on August 27th (an eclipse always has two parts: a New Moon and a Full Moon). Now we can see all that we had consciously (or unconsciously) planted for this portal. It always has the potential to reveal opportunities… for creation and for endings.
I challenged myself to keep track of what arrived in my world. So much did!
- An opportunity to work with an Orthodox rabbi (an Astrology student) on a book that weaves Jewish mysticism with the four Elements.
- A gathering of elders: I invited 10 women, ages 70–90, to come to my house and answer some questions of significance, such as What do you do to maintain your vitality? How have relationships changed since you were young?
- I started to play pickleball by learning from a very nice man who I had only just met. I happily said yes and I am now in love with pickleball.
- I went into a studio in Austin, Texas, and recorded a series for the NLS (Next Level Soul) podcast on Astrology and the Elements. I am so proud of it!
- My team and I just completed a 5-day Astrological Immersion for my Applied Astrology school, which begins on September 14th. We drew in more than 25,000 people who are interested in learning more.
Wait. Did I tell you, as the eclipse portal was just nearing the end…
- I left for Europe to see my grandkids.
- I get to teach classes in London while I’m there (at the College of Psychic Studies).
- I’m also teaching Level 3 in Switzerland.
This Full Moon asks us to dream and see the fulfillment of what was in the air, and also to realize all that is happening that is discouraging and frightening.
The weather crisis and geopolitical issues are breathing down our necks. This is the end of a summer season where reality still resembles something of the past. Soon it will all change (more on that later). Enjoy this late summer of 2026.
All of this is to say… eclipses open doors. Things come and go. My encouragement is to say yes to all of it.
Your future has arrived. Doors shut, others open. Your dreams that were once vague arrived, and new ones are appearing. It shouldn’t be back to business as usual. Let me ask you: What shifted? Anything noticeable?
You will know what you asked for when you see the karma schedule you are on now. What is life asking that you learn now?
Here we are at the final eclipse: a Full Moon in Pisces. Time to plant seeds for our future. My constant prayer, as many of you know: How can I be of service? How can I bring Astrology to you?
It’s no wonder all this magic showed up inside this portal for me. I am always busy praying. I am asking you, for real: What are you dreaming? What are your prayers made of?
This is, after all, what makes life meaningful: to see the ability we have to create, to manifest, and to allow the wet clay of our existence to take shape.
The trick is not judging what has shown up, but rather jumping in with that favorite question of mine: What am I supposed to be learning under this Full Moon, this eclipse?
What I’d like to let go of is Excesses…. Excess Everything! Clutter, storage, Anything that doesn’t fit, I’d Love To Omit!!!
I moved past my anxiety and invited 7 women out to the beach to join me for a day and we played Mahjong at the Ocean, instead of at someone’s house. So I hosted Mahjong at my RV “ShangriLa”. I did it! I did it! I did it! And they all loved it!!!!

We had a lot of celebrations during this time; birthdays, graduation parties & reunion’s. As much as it was a bit overwhelming, it was good to have the opportunities.
Yes, my world is changing, a project I’ve been working on all year is suddenly coming to fruition. Everything just seems to be dropping into place. publishing my book is immenent!! Love it!!

Hey DS, I’m a 71 yr old libra son with a Virgo moon and rising, Saturn in Scorpio and it’s the year of the fire horse. I’m a wood horse and I really got the message that I had to get off my ass and make things happen.
This year, I am paying more attention to all the things that get done in a day for me. Even I don’t know how it happens when the invitation to attend astrology immersion popped on my screen. It didn’t take long for me to say yes.. There was a time that I was a metaphysical workshop junkie and I said yes to everything.. at some point I realized I could be a jack of all trades master of none. So it’s been a long time since I said yes to a new workshop about two years ago I had learned QHHT quantum healing hypnosis technique.. It seems as that was also a steppingstone to my evolution as what I call myself a healing strategist to answer your question about what I have been doing today at the end of August. We create our reality. I’ve known this for a long time and have been able to manifest because I had vision. The challenge is keeping the vision alive and the observer present. Astrology is helpful with understanding others when they are open to it because seeing the energy and how it flows between another assists with communication esp when learning karmic lessons . When working with groups, it can be more powerful achieving a common goal. It’s helped me to understand challenges and accepting what is, and then moving forward.
I so enjoyed the Astrology Immersion! Debra is so alive and vibrant! I really understood everything astrology, the way she teaches. My Sun is in Libra, I have 5 planets in water (which explains my dedication to the inner work for the last 2 decades, I passed on trauma to my 4 grown children, and 8 grandchildren, 1 great, so I think I have owed them that). Deb’s prayers and dedication to humanity is amazing and sincere!! I’ve watched numerous podcasts with her and at 71 would like to take Astrology 1, I’m not in a position to pay for the class, not even a portion of it. I’m in a stage of my life where i’m learning how to receive. I just received Medicaid and food assistance, and now I am actually asking to see if you are able to give a opportunity to receive Astrology 1 class. Yes, this is bold, but, I thought I’d ask.

It’s awesome to know all the activities you have going Debra! How exciting! It’s funny, I’m a Sun in Pisces (today’s full moon is in Pisces) and I have Moon in Leo (August 12th’s eclipse was in Leo). I wonder if there’s a reversal-type learning (sun/moon) that I should be learning… I’m just glad Saturn in out of Pisces because that was a tough time. Anyway, best wishes & blessings.

I’ve failed my repeat exams, again, my daughter’s seem distressed all in their own ways, one living at home super stressed as she has just finished a degree and no job, my other two live a few hours from us and are missing home and would love to return but can’t. My husband is bugging the shit out of me, only we have 30 + years of building our life together, I can’t face walking away, sticking in there as we seem to be so close to achieving lots of our goals we planted but not sure if I can fake it much longer. I’ve been watching this eclipse and secretly hoping, but I feel rather than getting tighter as a family we are unraveling.
