It’s a beautiful dark starry night out there — but a Virgo won’t see the beauty as we do.
Both the Sun and the Moon are in the same spot, creating a double-Virgo sky: highlighted by a grand trine in Earth, which means we ‘should’ (Virgo’s favorite word) be feeling solid and grounded.
What is a grand trine? Imagine a huge triangle, perfectly staged by three planets all 120 degrees apart, setting up for the birth of a being who will surely carry the gifts of manifestation and beauty.
All that Earth creates beauty; however, if you tell a double Virgo they are beautiful, that you can see purity in their eyes, that you find them alluring — they will snicker under their breath, mumbling: “What do you know? You’re not being honest or real. You are just trying to be nice.”
Virgos suffer from comparison-itis. They cannot see their beauty. They know where every wrinkle starts and stops, and they have memorized what is “wrong” with every inch of their face and body. It’s funny actually, because in Astrology, Virgo epitomizes the perfect woman.
They will never agree.
Think Michael Jackson (a Virgo) and how desperately he tried to change his appearance — in too many ways to count.
One of my dearest, more-beautiful friends whom I adore suffers with this disorder. It is a condition.
It’s surprising, because Virgo is profoundly logical and practical; however, in the area of their own reflection, they live far beyond truth –interrupted by detours of insecurity and misinformation. They simply cannot see themselves objectively. The critic screams at them, and immediately all truths are interrupted.
I have often thought if I could change one sign and insert a new interpretation, it would be Virgo, because I adore them. I want to change the narrative about them.
For me, I love that they care for us and the details are covered because they worry that things will go wrong, so they’re always prepared.
My friend asks me: ‘What do you want to eat? What would be your pleasure?’ I love that quality of selfless service. If only they could see their beauty and value to all of us.

Or do the Virgo energies in you cancel out the ability for you to see through the eyes of love?
During this new moon in Virgo sky, the prayer that would change your life is this:
Allow me to see my own beauty with my eyes closed.
Let me touch my essence and go past the outer world, so I can feel the love I am created from.
Let me look into the heart of my friends, family members, and even my foes, and see the depths from where they source.
I long to step over the details that have me comparing myself or judging you or me, so that I can go straight to the heart of the matter.
Imagine our hearts are made of gold… they cannot break. I want to know the golden truth of a heart who practices self love — that will change the world.
Okay Virgo, re-write: you are such a golden gift to us. Even if you don’t believe me. Just try it out during this new moon.

As a Virgo, I read what ou say and agree that I can never see the beauty. It’s a real struggle living under this sign. Add in the Pisces moon and a Leo rising and I feel like I have 3 distinct personalities and none of them meet the standards I set for myself…

Thank you-you are right-we can’t see all the beauty in us-but I can see beauty all around-since I am an artist- I am in love with color-that’s all I think about-
I LOVE THAT AND I SEE THOSE TRAITS IN THE VIRGOS I KNOW!
I have Mercury and Venus in Virgo in the Third House, and Saturn in Virgo in my Fourth House. While I am super organized and all those typical traits, I also suffer so many self esteem issues, that it is unhealthy. Now, thanks to understanding this, I am attempting to alter my perspective and my harsh self-judgement. Among other things, it makes me aloof, and distrustful of what others tell me. Learning astrology is so helpful, and very healthy for me. Learning self love and self respect is not a slam dunk, but I persevere.

I love so many Virgos. I never thought about them as self critical. So I am now moved to shower my Virgo friends in observations of their beauty.

I an a double Virgo the sun and the moon were in Virgo .along with 4 other layers. This is true and I have learned to love me.I have a beautiful Virgo 26 years old .she is my heart and soul .one of the many blessing that have been bestowed to me. She also has the gift and very strong .she called one day saying she said she was seeing more and more.

Debra! This blog post was such a special message.. it sunk right into the deepest tissues of my heart. Thank you from a Virgo queen learning to love herself, her perfections and imperfections. It is a challenging gift to be able to see the “other” and validate their reality so well, but not be so understanding of the self. Hmmm, I have a Virgo North Node in the 12th house conjuncting my Libra ascendant. Perhaps that’s what’s been affecting me all along and I never guessed. Thanks for the beautiful prayer/mantra to help me remember who I am. Blessings!
