Sun in Leo, Moon in Aquarius
When is it a better time to talk about the Twilight Zone and sing the song, ”Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo…”
Then during a Full Moon in Aquarius.
Some of you may know that I had a bike accident on a sunny day in Boulder. It was an extremely unusual event because I went unconscious for about an hour. I have no recall of falling off the bike, calling my assistant to inform her, getting an ambulance, or having a brain scan. All of that was done in a dream state while my eyes were open.
I can’t report to you any of the details at all, except that under a Full Moon in Aquarius, we are allowed to consider the abstract world that stands apart from logic. Welcome to the Full Moon in Aquarius during the solar cycle of Leo.
That may sound like an anomaly, and it was – I think this entire reality has been interrupted with non-linear/illogical/unpredictable events that are derailing our ordinary state of being. However, we can’t really identify the meaning of such change; we can only feel the effect.
This is where Astrology comes in. Our doors are open for school. You may know we only have school sessions begin in September or January, so we are in the fall season. We only have room for 600 students, and already a third of these students have signed up from the waiting list.
I’ll tell you why… the Sun cycle of Leo asks us to do self-reflection about our own purpose. Why am I here? Who am I? What is it about my personality that can serve my purpose? And how do I distinguish my personality from my soul?
These questions are addressed in our school.
What could be more important in a time when unusual events occur, that stand away from logic? Yet we seek comfort from the mind to understand the seasons, the cycles, and the meaning of life. Oh, I know… let’s consult the stars!
Let’s look up and resource our answers from a higher perspective.
You know that I wrote a book called I Don’t Believe in Astrology with the very intention to address the minds of people who are skeptical. After my bike episode (I don’t like to call it an accident, because it was more magical than that), my firm belief in magic and angels has been solidified.
I can promise you that if you have been through our school, you believe in magic, and the understanding that a mystical world exists beyond logic.
May this blog confirm for you that logic—while absolutely necessary for your taxes, spreadsheets, and all things mechanical, electrical, not to mention practical and Virgoian—must be balanced by the right brain, better known as intuition and a belief in the mystical world. We are now at that moment in her story where we will start to consider both the right and left brain.
This is my love for the Tarot and divination cards, as well as Astrology and predictions. We are 2-brained creatures. The Sun and the Moon are opposite today, and in the name of duality, it would do us all well to do a prayer that says:
May the duality of this existence soften. May I weave together the male and the female.
Logic, and magic.
Night and day.
Into a beautiful blend that allows me to accept what is with peace and comfort.
This Full Moon is demanding the acceptance of two realities. Nothing ever really happens – we are in a life of timelessness. While your attention to detail, time, and accountability will determine your success in the outer world, it is essential to blend the magical, mystical world where nothing’s ever happened with the predictable, calculated, executed timelines that demand we follow suit.
Good luck with this duality. Just know I’m in the same boat with you, wondering all the time how I can explain magic. When I pick up a chart and I begin to decode the cryptic language of the Egyptian hieroglyphics, I feel myself blending in the two rules with great ease. This is why we study Astrology.
Let me bring you peace with both worlds as you begin to look at the stars and understand them.
I hope I get to see you in our school.
Sending you my love during this full moon.
With love,
Debra

I hope to see you too. Level 2 coming up. The blog was nicely written and explains my own adventure with being unconscious. 😊😊
Debra, 🥰
Very timely for me. I went through your school – Level 1&2. I love, love, love astrology and what I have learned about myself. I also love, love, love oracle & tarot cards. I’ve had 3 “episodes” this month & thought this was going to be a great August for me. Uranus had different surprises. I was first diagnosed with a favorable outcome but still surgery is needed along with a blood transfusion, my scapulas locked down as I was positioned in a superman position in an MRI for 30 min. Fortunately that was resolved, i can sleep again. ANd then the cherry on top a water pipe burst outside my house. After 3 days that has been resolved. I have never in my 73 years had to deal with any of this worldly stuff. Take me to the edge & I’ll reside there comfortably as the hermit with the high priestess inside. I’ve been on the spritiual and self help path most of my life and the tools I have in my toolbox are working and always a work in progress. So the first 2 episodes I was handling but the finding a plumber who was honest and discerning what was happening over 3 days with no water was a real test of living on this earthly plane for me. Tried to surrender & trust, tried to find my intuition, tried to not worry ( I am a cancer) & had little control over this situation. I did call in the angels & spoke with them everyday. In the end i did find the right people and it was fixed with ease and at a very reasonable rate. Guess I’m learning that lesson (not to mention a tax situation and other messy everyday stuff). My husband had the mentality for this – I don’t. He said I would have trouble when he died. I thought that was rather hurtful (he was a Scorpio). Maybe this is what he was talking about without naming it! HAHA!
Thank you so much. I’m not sure what is going on. I think I’m jumping timelines. I cannot keep my schedule straight. I have some long term goals. Seems like Saturn is in my way. I look forward to joining your school just not sure when 😉
Oh Debra, that brings a morsel of solace! Whilst increasingly having felt that I had begun to effortlessly surf life, I also struggle sometimes to hold those two realities, and hold the polarities of the oppositions in my chart. Each time this happens, as it is now, it’s almost like facing death (and of course it is a metaphorical death, at the very least). This time may well have been the hardest. After reading your post, I recalled how years ago, an astrologer told me that I had a particularly difficult chart. Back then, I didn’t believe him, but here I am over thirty years later and my life shows that he knew a thing or two!
Hoping you recover quickly Debra! I too believe I. Magical things. Today has not been lucky or magical for me..or the last 3 days….but the day is young. Right?
Debra you are so right about these dualities, I’m a Leo Rising and Aquarian moon and through much of my life I have deeply felt the conflict. I have studied astrology with you and so many of your teachers. You and they have helped me to feel the magic and share it with others. The moment we are living in feels surreal and fraught with conflict and uncertainty one moment, emotional whiplash the next, a cinematic experience I’d liken to the dining table scene from Beetle Juice. DAY o DAY A A O. Day light come and I wanna go home. All of life is hocus pocus and in that knowing, I seize what magic I can with gratitude, courage and light.
Mahalo me ke aloha.
Happy to hear that you are well and not derailed by your accident. Instead inspired and leaning into the magical synchronicities.
I’ve been feeling a bit disoriented by what’s occurring on the larger scale.. It feels like an initiation to seeing things differently. Initially I was concerned but checked in to realize that it’s a call to go deeper and be present.
Well spoken, as always!!!
I am glad you are alright after the incident. Myself I too found myself in the ER and since then get to deal with my blood pressure being highly fickle ( very crazy roller-coaster ride i didn’t sign up). So thanks for shading some light onto all these topsy turvy events
Oh Debra, I’m so sorry to hear about your bike. “episode “. I’m glad you weathered that little storm and glad that your belief in magic and angels has been solidified. I know for myself, sometimes I either take it for granted or move to a Question place. It is always wonderful and a beautiful experience when it all gets restored again.
I have just graduated from level three and I’m working on my first paid client reading.
I won’t say that I have been battling feelings of not being qualified/of being less than etc. however, everyone has to start somewhere and this is where I begin.
I’m so grateful to you, your beautiful team and your philosophy and teaching astrology as it totally resonates with me.
Wishing you happy healing. and full moon blessings
Roberta, a student and stargazer✨💫✨
I love this! Thank you. Perfect timing too.
Now… on another hand, I believe I signed up for your course before, but I have fallen into the “disease” (ha) of signing up for courses and then forgetting that I signed up for them. Can you tell me if I signed up for your course; and if so, is it still active?
happiness to you you are now fine not final. thinking of you mahalo
Feel better!
I expect my relationship with u and astrology to continue to grow, expand, and create magic in this life.
Not the last time you will see or hear my name…promise.
Sharing good energy in mexico with immersion videos everyday I can with u…
Thank you for sharing your story of your accident and your knowledge of astrology.
I’m glad you’re okay and hope you have no lasting injuries. Thank you for this very powerful blog.
* * * WOW! That is a very unusual “episode” to say the least. I am aware that sometimes these things occur to purposefully put people in a state of unconsciousness so that higher beings can take them out of body and/or work on them and perform upgrades, etc. There is something about this type of state that is needed vs. sleep. It would be interesting to see and feel what may be different in the coming months and year, or maybe it is seamless and invisible? In any case, hugs from Michigan & hope you are healing well! XX
You ARE MAGIC to us, sll who read your words! MUCH LOVE, PEACE & BLESSINGS as you heal and continue on this journey. Your ‘daily moon’ reports were a guiding light in my journey. MISS them (selfishly) although LOVE you the same!
GOD BLESS & RIDE SOON my FRIEND in the STARS!!!♡♡♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆
Happy healing.. so glad your alive.
Debra, so very thankful that you are all right.
May the blessings of the Full Moon release you from the pain and trauma of an unfortunate event.
